Hi, I’m Carina (Pei Pei), a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan.
When I was a teenager, I spent nine years being educated in English abroad. I also studied French for two years. These language learning experiences help me empathize with the challenges my students face. Having a degree in psychology and being an elementary school teacher for more than 15 years, I offer a unique blend of theoretical insight and practical expertise in language teaching.
I have a warm and easygoing personality, and I enjoy working with people (both kids and adults). Outside teaching, I enjoy gourmet food, traveling, reading, and visiting art exhibitions.
I believe that understanding each student's background and unique needs is the first step to effective learning. In my classroom, you will develop the skills to speak Mandarin naturally and confidently.
