Professional background:
I was nominated and selected for two distinguishing awards from Truman State University in the United States in 2024. I am an enthusiastic teacher instructing Mandarin, adept at teaching students in a humorous, engaging, and inspiring manner. My passion for the craft of teaching is reflected in my part-time employment in the fields of history, culture, and language application. During my work experience and past activities, I have maintained a thirst for lifelong learning, while I have gained considerable maturity through integrating socially within a given group. A year and a half of study, language exchange experience, and being a tour guide have also enabled me to develop as an individual who thinks independently, allowing me to acquire a deeper understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures.

I practice immersive learning pedagogy to address the significance of authentic materials in a highly stimulating environment for my students’ academic growth.
